BWR Thermal Jackets from Pactimo

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

I’m really liking my new thermal jacket from Pactimo.  Pactimo has been the clothing supplier to Big Wheel Racing since our formation and every year the quality of their products surpass our expectations.  The jacket is designed to be worn over a jersey and/or other clothing comfortably between the range of 40F to 20F, but I’ve worn the jacket up in the mid to high fifties and plan to wear it below 20F when those unfortunate times arrive.

The wind block material sheds the nippy mountain air, but the under arm breathable fabric keeps the seat out.  A HUGE pocket in the back -fleece lined, no doubt - carries all of your gear and accessories confortably.  As with all of Pactimos high level clothing there is even reflective piping to warn those motorists of your presecence as they creep up on you on dark roads.

Press Release - Paolo Bettini

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Big Wheel Racing press agent Terry Nation addressed the media today with the following announcement on the rumors pertaining to two time world champion Paolo Bettini joining the BWR team for 2009.

While Mr. Bettini certainly would add a significant level of interst to the 2009 team, at this time we are not interested in taking on new candidates.  We believe that his interest in riding one geared bikes solely on the rear wheel certainly does meet our standards, but we need to further investigate the candidates willingness to explore the absurd and display unmeritted stupidness without abandon.  We invite Mr. Bettini to show to us his further antics and we welcome him in his pursuit of the dirty path in life. At that point we will welcome him with open arms.”

With more training we believe he might just be a good fit.

Of course we expect his answer to come shortly and quite abrupt.
